Philippine President Cory Aquino Died On Saturday

Maria Corazon Cojuanco Aquino serve as the 11th President of the Philippines from year 1986 to 1992. Madam Cory was the first female president of the Philippines and also the Asia's first female president.

I am sad to the demise of our former Philippine President Cory Aquino who died on Saturday August 01 at 3:18 a.m. after suffering from colon cancer. She is the beloved democracy icon who swept away a dictator and inspired nonviolent resistance to autocratic rule.

Let us also pray for his bereaved family during this time of the loss of her loved one. My condolences to the Aquino family.
